Basic information

Stena line has 34 vessels, but only one of them - the Stena Saga - sails to Norway.

Oslo - Fredrikshavn

M.S. Stena Saga operates one sailing each day in each direction, taking about 8.5 hours. Operates every day in the summer, does not sail for one round-trip Monday-Tuesday during the winter.

Harwich - Hook of Holland

This is one of the only viable ferry links between the UK and Norway, since the end of the Newcastle - Stavanger - Bergen service in 2008. Be warned though: it is a long drive (ten hours or more) from Hoek van Holland via Hamburg to Hanstholm in northern Denmark for a second ferry to Kristiansand.
It is operated twice a day by two brand new ferries (late 2009)- the Stena Britannica and the Stena Hollandica.
