Description: Rauland ski resort has 3 different ski centres and 7 parking areas. It includes Rauland skisenter with Holtardalen and Rauland Høgfjellshotell, Raulandsfjell alpinsenter and Vierli turistsenter. Fairly limited skiing for beginners but quite good for intermediates, plus several advanced slopes and some steep off-piste.
Rauland also has around 150 km of good cross-country skiing tracks

Location description:: Rauland Ski resort is in north-west Telemark, about 25 km north along RV 37 from the E134 road at Åmot. 210 km to Oslo, 350 km to Stavanger (winter) and around 180 km to the Sandefjord - Larvik - Porsgrunn Grenland area.
The 3 skisenters are stretched across 12 km of RV 37 and FV 362
