Gunnarsberget

Gunnarsberget is a small recreational area beside Froylandsvatnet lake, a ten minute walk from Klepp railway station. Walking and cycling trails and picnic tables beside the lake.
Froylandsvatnet is a large lake in the Jaeren region of Rogaland, south of Stavanger Norway.

woodland trails This is lovely to stroll or cycle beside the lake or simply sit and relax at the picnic tables. This is a popular place for water skiers, always fun to watch.
This area is the western part of the 20km circular cycling route all around Froylandsvatnet lake, which runs right beside the lake along the entire west side.

By car:
Drive south from Stavanger and take RV44 exit right to Klepp, then follow signs to Klepp railway station. At T junction opposite entrance to station, turn right, take first left and follow signs to Froylandsvatnet. The road goes under railway line.
