There are two marked loops,
10km and 12km but it is also possible to make many of your own smaller circular
walks, for example just up to the first lakes and back, or whatever takes
your fancy when you get out into the fresh mountain air.
Map reference: Rogaland Fylkeskart (scale 1: 200 000) 328 193 By car: Drive south from Stavanger on the E39 and just south of Algard take the RV45 towards Sirdal. After approx 8km turn right and follow signposts to Madland, approx 10km. Parking: Just before the first farmgate, stop and pay for parking (money in an envelope system) before driving on up to the parking area at the end of the road. Distance from Stavanger: 50 km |
