Skudefestivalen in Skudeneshavn

Skudeneshavn was famous as a wooden ship-building centre, and the annual festival celebrates this. A skude is a type of sailing ship named after the town, so Skudefestivalen is the name of the festival.
Skudeneshavn is at the southern end of the island of Karmøy, between Haugesund and Stavanger.
