Best snow in Sirdal for many years

This year is the best snow conditions for many years in Sirdal - and all less than 2 hours from Stavanger.

Tjørhomfjellet has 170 cm of snow at the bottom - and 250 cm of snow at the top.

A real winter

The snow is so deep that some of the houses and cabins - hytter - have almost been buried in the snow.

After bad weather during part of the early season, now is the time to get up there and make the most of it.
Fresh snow is forecast for this coming weekend, with light winds.

Looking forward to Easter

Easter is quite late this year - Saturday 12th - Monday 21st April - so hopefully the excellent snow conditions mean that there will still be good skiing for the Easter period.
