Mountains in Rogaland, Vest Agder and Aust Agder

The Sirdal-Setesdal heiene are a mountain area with two big valleys (Sirdal and Setesdal further to the East) running north-south through it. There are few roads in these areas. Winter does not play around here - some roads are closed by snow for half the year, making journeys longer and slower. The only way in or out of Lysebotn (past Pulpit Rock and Kjerag at the end of Lysefjord) during the winter is by boat.
