Basic information

DFDS Seaways operates a network of ferry routes across northern Europe, including England to Holland, Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

Newcastle - Stavanger - Haugesund - Bergen

This route was discontinued in August 2008. It will not resume until at least 2011.

Copenhagen - Helsingborg - Oslo

The M.S. Crown of Scandinavia and the M.S. Pearl of Scandinavia provide a daily service in each direction on this route.

Gothenberg - Kristiansand - Newcastle

This route was discontinued in October 2006

Harwich - Esbjerg (Denmark)

This route is now one of the only ways to travel by ferry to Norway from the UK. It is then necessary to drive to Hanstholm on the north coast of Denmark and take another ferry to Kristiansand.
