Roldal
is a hidden gem with great snow and a long season - but can also be

The resort is split with slopes on both sides of the valley.

great skiing and a long season.
There is a wide range of hotels, apartments and hyttes to choose from.
Rauland
is 4 hours by car along E 134 (though it once took 2 days!). A hotel, apartments and hyttes for rent, at 3 separate skisenters.

in a lively town, with a cable car up from near the Bergen - Oslo
