Stavanger Botanical gardens - Botanisk hage
Located
close to part of the University on the south west side of (the hill) Ullandhaug,
the botanical gardens are nice to visit at various times of the year. |

There
are a number of different zones, showcasing plants from around the world,
plus areas devoted to different growing conditions. Combine a visit here with one of the other trips in the area. Ullandhaug tower is less than 1 km away, and the walk around the tower that passes by the gardens takes an hour, plus there are many other trails in Sormarka woodland. Right at the roundabout, left at the next roundabout, and up the hill along Ullandhaugveien, over the top past the tower, then left and right onto Rektor Natvig Pedersensvei.
